Migration 2014
The migration started on February 18th but slowed down due to cold weather at the end of Feb. March was mainly dry and there were few evenings when it was both warm and damp enough to see large movements of toads. Toads stopped moving at most crossings in late March but some patrols saw movement into the second week of April.
Most patrols have seen less toads this year than last but the overall
number of toads saved is up due to there being more patrols operating.
